BABY WARMER

The large volume of water means that rapid changes in

temperature are avoided and the thermal balance of the

Infant is maintained at a very even level.

The baby is less stressed, with a lower heart rate, on the

water matress compared to an incubator, and the quality

of sleep is better. The baby grows more rapidly*, which

reduces hospitilisation and associated costs.

The soft, warm water mattress surrounds the infant’s body

in a cosy shelter and resembles being in skin contact with

the mother.

Less noise than the incubator, no electrical or magnetic

fields, with less risk of flat scull, typical of prem babies.
